Why doesn’t my groomer quote me a set price?
The cost of grooming will vary depending on the condition of your pet’s coat, temperament, and the type of cut that you require. Additional fees may be applied or extra time required due to matting, behaviour of the pet, or scissor style.
How long does the grooming process take?
Grooming time will depend on the breed, condition of pet’s coat, style of cut, and pet’s temperament.
How soon should my new puppy be groomed?
After the puppy has received its second round of vaccinations. Having your puppy groomed at an early age will help make it a great experience as it grows into adulthood.
How often should my dog be groomed?
I recommend every 4-6 weeks, depending on coat type and lifestyle. Some owners prefer the bi-weekly schedule so their pet always have that fresh groomed look.
Do I need to bring anything for my dog to the groomers?
Please feel free to bring your pet’s favourite toy or treat.
When do I need to pick my pet up?
Plan on your pet being at the salon for at least two hours. However, if you would like to drop your pet off on your way to work and pick up on your way home from work, there will be an extra charge of $20. Please bring your pet’s collar and lease so that I can take them out for a walk if they are staying for the day. Also provide your pet with food for the day.
What if I don’t have a vehicle or I am a senior and have no way to get my pet to the groomers?
If you don’t have a vehicle or you are a senior and don’t or can’t drive, I will come and pick up your pet and deliver them home to you for an extra fee of $20 each way. Must be within 10km of my shop.
